1st Friday of the month- ROMPs at the Bridge Inn Rotherham
Over 14s welcome [under 18s with adults].
ROMP’s original night. Expect a lively, supportive night of mainly spoken based shenanigans and sometimes sketches and musical offerings.

'Open mic poetry in Rotherham's bastion of rock I hear you ask?? Quite simply, yes!' Gav replies.
Often with more musical happenings that our Friday night Romp but plenty of poetry too.

NEWS FLASH: Thanks to Steve Rogers and Open Minds Theatre Company (OMTC), ROMP now has the keys to the Temperance Hall. We hope to be doing all sorts there soon including a quieter ROMP (without the pints). Watch this space.

Vicky Morris, who runs Rotherham Young Writers, is are hoping to start a poetry writing group with regular rompeteers to give them the tools to become self-sustaining.
